Course Overview: A one hour presentation by a clinical expert with case review focusing on the utilization and optimization of breast MRI techniques and technologies. The course provides an understanding of MRI utilization for breast cancer detection, staging, and MRI guided biopsies including the clinical role and indications of when to use MRI, how to develop a standard approach to acquiring and interpreting MRI data, and establishing protocols for the assessment of lesions using morphology and kinetic information.
