Position Description
Determines company's internal and external training requirements and provides training resources and opportunities to meet those needs. The Product Trainer will provide classroom training to our customers and will assist with the development of our training curriculum. May include some on site customer training.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, plans, and implements corporate training programs, policies, and procedures.
- Training includes both internal and external groups.
- Develops methods and materials for training staff and may prepare curriculums including lectures, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops
- Researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs.
- Contracts with vendors for employee participation in outside training programs.
- Conduct In-depth Sales training for new sales employees and Product Knowledge classes for new employees in multiple departments
- Design, develop, and update technical training course materials on proprietary software - You will be project leader for conducting training needs and evaluations of internal support and customers - Work one on one with the software engineers to gain all technical information on the products - Work with out clients to train and teach them on our software.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must stay abreast of new training methods and determine relevancy to company employees.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is a must Business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating a variety of training topics.
- Moderate level of creativity required.
