POSITION DESCRIPTION

Research and develop state of the art CAD algorithms for breast and colon cancer detection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement sophisticated image processing and analysis techniques.
Lead other research scientists.
Develop feature extraction and pattern recognition algorithms for radiographic applications.
Investigate and evaluate new technologies for expanding our solution.
Collaborate with companies, research institutions and clinical sites.
Work with product management and marketing to identify research requirements.
Create patent ideas and provide support for patent applications.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years algorithmic research/development experience (3+ in corporate environment) in Computer Aided Detection in the medical industry.
Recognized authority in Image Analysis and Pattern Recognition.
Must have industry experience with proven history of delivering commercially successful results in a timely manner.
Advance degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Imaging Science, Physics or equivalent.
Strong Technical and Leadership abilities to lead a group of researchers.
3+ years experience with MATLAB.
5+ years C/C++/C# programming.
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
